About Ms. Amann

This is my third year at the wonderful Westbrook Elementary! Before Westbrook, I have worked with grades kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade, but first grade is my favorite!

I grew up in Montgomery County and am so happy to be able to teach here! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Towson University. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and am taking classes online. In my free time, I love playing with my dog, hiking, or trying new restaurants!

As a primary grade teacher, I believe it is extremely important to both teach in a variety of ways and offer a variety of choices to help students learn. I plan to hold all of your students to high expectations and to help them all reach their own goals.

If there are questions on how to pronounce my name, which is quite common, it is said like "aiming" as in aiming for a target without the g!
